The momentum is buildingI wanted to share some great news with you! In the past week we have announced endorsements for Tarryl from all across the district. With your help we are building the grassroots organization that we need to be successful next November. Last Wednesday, the Steelworkers District 11 announced their endorsement of Tarryl. The Steelworkers are by far one of the largest unions in the district with 12,500 members. These men and women work in the mines, nursing homes, and many other important jobs. I have attached a great video with why these men and women support Tarryl. Click here to watch the video of the Steelworkers announcing their support for Tarryl! Along with the Steelworkers, we announced the endorsements of former and current elected officials from across the district. These men and women have been school board members, mayors, state senators and many other important positions that keep our communities strong. They all had one thing in common for their reason of endorsing Tarryl. She will go to Washington and put the priorities of our families and communities first. Here is a quote from one of our endorsers that just sums up why people are backing Tarryl. Former State Senator Rick Olseen (DFL SD 17) said, “Tarryl has spent her life working to make our communities better. We need to send someone to Washington that will work on the priorities of our families and communities and Tarryl is that person.” Theses local officials and the Steelworkers join a others in supporting Tarryl’s campaign for the 8th district.. Tarryl has already been endorsed by the Committee to Protect Social Security and Medicare, womenwinning, and the Women’s Campaign Forum. Our campaign is moving forward but, as always, we can’t do it without your support. We need you to join the Steelworkers and Rick in building our organization because the only way we are ever going to get our priorities represented in Washington is if we build such an overwhelming organization that the Tea Party can’t keep up. Thank you, Brandon Pinette Campaign Manager Posted on November 17, 2011.
